I have set up a YouTube channel. Here you will find  an Introduction, giving some personal background, and the first of what will become a series of short reflections on images that have inspired me through the years. These are drawn from the Inspirations section of my website. I have uploaded a further selection of such images, mostly magazine pages or cuttings from fifty or more years ago.

A pleasing ‘first’ is the inclusion of one of my photographs in the exhibition ‘Breasts’ in Venice. This multi-artist, multi-media exhibition, curated by Carolina Pasti, was at the Palazzo Franchetti and ran till November 24, aligning with the Venice Biennale. The image selected is ‘Lucilla (breast), La Voile Rouge beach, Saint-Tropez, 1976’.

Summer – Seventies – Saint-Tropez

Hamiltons Gallery, London, hosted my first solo exhibition. It ran from 4th September to 4th October 2023, introducing images made in the South of France between 1972 and 1976, and notably featuring a suite made on La Voile Rouge beach in Saint-Tropez.

The exhibition is documented in
installation shots.

The first of my images to be shown by Hamiltons was a five-foot high print of ‘
Lucilla, Taunton Mews, London, 1977’ presented at Paris Photo, November 2019.

Summer Still Life I’, from 1984, was shown by Hamiltons at Paris Photo, November 2023.

More recently, Hamiltons featured ‘
Lucilla (wet hair), La Voile Rouge, Saint- Tropez, 1976’ in their multi-photographer exhibition ‘Celebrating Silver’.
